II. EXPERIMENTAL REQUIREMENTS ON CALORIMETER Decays of K mesons into ππ are reconstructed imposing that the four photons detected by the calorimeter have invariant mass equal to the kaon mass, checking that the kaon candidate parent is collinear with the beam direction, and that gamma pairs can be reconstructed as originating from π decays.
